How pricing works
How your credits are used

Buy an annual credit pack. Choose a volume based on who you verify and which checks you want to run.

Completed checks use credits. The deeper the check, the more credits it uses: 1, 3, or 6.

No charge for return visits. Once a check is done, it doesn’t use credits again while it stays valid.

Only required re-checks use credits again. If a check expires or must be repeated, only that check draws from your pack again.

Are these all the checks you support?
No. The lists on this page show the most common checks customers start with. 9ID also supports more specific checks by country, site type, and industry — for example AIGIS screening for port facilities, food hygiene / HACCP for food sites, and GMP / GDP for pharma. If you need a check that isn’t listed, tell us and we’ll map it into Know, Verify, or Trust.
What are Know, Verify, and Trust?
They are verification depths, not packages. Know covers onboarding and acknowledgements and uses 1 credit per completed check. Verify adds identity and screening and uses 3 credits. Trust covers deeper compliance, certificates, and training and uses 6 credits.
What draws credits?
Completed checks draw from your annual credit pack, not gate entries. As long as a check stays valid, repeated site visits don’t draw again. If a check expires or must be re-run, only that check draws credits again.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Unused credits expire at the end of the subscription year. Your next year starts with a new committed credit pack sized to the volume and mix you expect.
What if someone works across multiple sites?
Credits are counted per unique person or company. If they are already verified and move between sites in your account, those checks don’t draw again while they remain valid.
Do all people and companies need the same depth?
No. Who you verify can run different checks. A light visitor might only need Know; a high-risk contractor might need Verify and Trust. Companies follow the same idea with their own checklist. You can start lighter and add checks later.
Why not a fixed fee per person or company?
Risk isn’t uniform. Credits follow the checks you actually run, so lighter mixes stay lighter and high-risk cases don’t force everyone into the deepest tier.
How does billing work?
You buy an annual credit pack with your subscription, billed from the contract start date. Checks draw from that pack when completed. Site visits don’t draw again while a check stays valid; only expired or re-run checks draw again. Unused credits don’t roll over. Your estimate sizes the pack from who you verify and their mix of checks.
How do we get a price?
Share who you verify and, if you know it, rough yearly unique volumes. Extra detail isn’t required, but it helps us estimate closer to the real number. We’ll return a tailored estimate within a few business days and follow up for the exact checks.
What should we prepare before talking to sales?
Who you verify (contractors, visitors, truckers, or companies), rough yearly unique volumes, and whether most checks are light, standard, or deep. If you’re unsure, say so. We’ll help map it.
